theglobalsun – Ferran Torres marked his European debut for Paris Saint-Germain with a hat-trick as the French side secured an emphatic 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava.
The Spanish World Cup winner joined PSG from Barcelona during the summer and quickly made his presence felt. Torres scored three times after Ousmane Dembele had given the hosts control with two goals during a dominant first-half spell.

Dembele Puts PSG in Control
Dembele opened the scoring after 17 minutes, reacting quickly to fire home the rebound after Nuno Mendes saw a powerful effort crash against the post. The early breakthrough gave PSG confidence and allowed the hosts to control possession while continuing to test Slovan’s defensive structure.

The former Barcelona player completed his hat-trick when he converted Dembele’s corner from inside a crowded penalty area. Slovan managed to find a consolation goal through Suleiman Camara. The forward drifted into the six-yard box before shifting the ball onto his right foot and firing an excellent finish into the top corner.
PSG restored their five-goal advantage late in the match when Fabian Ruiz drilled a low shot into the far corner.
The victory represents an important result for PSG, who have endured an unusual start to their Ligue 1 campaign. The French champions are yet to win domestically this season, having recorded two draws and one defeat.
They currently sit 13th in the French top flight, but their commanding European performance provides a positive response and could give the team renewed confidence as they continue their Champions League campaign.
